Long Overdue

I finally cleaned out my closet. I have never really cleaned out my closet and it grew and grew. I have gotten rid of t-shirts before but never gone into my closet. There were shirts in there from middle school and before perhaps. I know several from a seventh grade at least. It was time for an overhaul. I wish I took a before picture so you could see the difference, but you can still see all that purged myself of. Logan might have some room in the closet after all...until I fill it up again.

Maybe a good thing?

This is the only positive thing that I have found about the Rodgers leaving and I do not even find it that positive because now we do not have any more storage space at all and we have all the boullion in the world (6.5 pounds! Who needs that?). Yesterday Brittany went through all their food and gave us anything they did not want to keep (as in spices) and everything that they were not going to eat before they leave on Saturday. All in all it totaled twelve grocery bags of food. Let's just say we don't need to go shopping for awhile.

On a different note, here is Goblin showing us that he would like to go outside and if we could please open the door for him it would be appreciated.

He can get up there both paws at the same time but we did not catch him in the action, he kept getting distracted by the camera.

On Saturday we went to the Hogle Zoo with the Rodgers. We had a fun time trying to take pictures with the animals. They were not very cooperative. Plus the zoo did not even have a lion! What kind of zoo is that? But we were so good at the zoo we were allowed to watch the movie Cars on the ride home in the Rodgers fancy schmancy van. Oh and a side note, if you look closely in the pictures you can see the photographer sometimes because of Logan's or mine sunglasses.

Us getting ready to go into the zoo. Don't we look excited?

Logan petting the elephant.

Madisen and I sitting on the trunk of an elephant that sang and sneezed.

The orangatang was preforming for us. It was swinging around and even did the tight rope. It was the most exciting primate we have seen at a zoo before.

Logan does not even measure up to the gorilla's hand.

However I definitely am bigger than the gorilla.

The gorilla is taking a good nap in front of the window. He is one of the primates we were speaking of earlier.

I am trying to sit on the camel, but it looks like I am pooping the camel.

One of the many pretty peacocks around the zoo. They were making lots of rukus.

Logan holding a pretty bird. "Pretty bird, pretty bird."

Aww, look how cute the wolf is when he is napping. I'm sure he doesn't look that cute when he is trying to rip your head off.

There really shouldn't be a snow leopard at this zoo because it's only May and it is already melting.

They're Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

This was the picture that we had the least cooporation on. We tried very hard to get this picture and you still have to look very close to see the giraffe's tongue.

Wait, these are the bare necessities of life?

All dressed up and no place to go.

He was not happy to see fellow cougars. He growled several times at us.

This is just a sample of many, many pictures that Brittany and I took in about thirty seconds while the kids were getting a snack.

It is not a bronze cougar, but we are still ridin' it.

Ethan finally gets more picture time. He is so cute. How can you not love that face.

All I can say is "Ow!"

All of us finally together (plus the random photographer's kid who didn't get out of the picture).

Our wild animal.

It has been two years of bliss.... and some other stuff in there. Yesterday I did not get home until eight but we had Outback and watched the Nuggets win. Actually I fell asleep before the end of the game so Logan had us go to bed after the game. That was our celebration. Awesome huh? Today we did our tradition of smashing a pinata.
